The hills are those of the Monferrato and the province is Asti; the municipality of Costigliole d'Asti is built around the imposing castle which also housed the Countess of Castiglione, revealing a historical connection with Castiglione Tinella which gave the famous nineteenth century lady the aristocratic title.

On these hills our farm owns 10 hectares of vineyards that produce Barbera, Moscato, Dolcetto, Grignolino, Cortese and Cabernet grapes. Raw material for different wines that are all transferred to the winery in Castiglione Tinella, where vinification takes place. The most representative wine of this area of Asti is definitely the Barbera that according to the popular tradition in Italian should be pronounced with the feminine article.
